Being a Tourist in my own town started to make me really think deep about where to go and what to do. So lets start at the top ………. and I really mean the top – the tallest masonry structure on the South African coastline.

Situated in Cape St Francis on Seal Point, the most astonishing thing is that there is surprisingly little information about the history of our impressive lighthouse.
Completed in 1878, at the time the construction this beast of a building must have been the South African equivalent of the ancient Egyptians building their triangles at Giza. Lets think about it …………
